Signed Takamine Guitars Available!

 


A limited number of Takamine acoustic guitars, hand-signed by Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit are now available at the Eagles Store. Net sales proceeds will benefit the Walden Woods Project, a nonprofit group headquartered near Boston, MA. The organization is leading the fight to preserve historic Walden Woods -- the birthplace of the American conservation movement and the setting for Henry David Thoreau's famous writings on the environment and social reform.

Spend an intimate evening with Don Henley

Spend an intimate Saturday evening on October 25, 2008, with Don Henley in concert benefiting the Cass County Courthouse Restoration Project in Linden, Texas. The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. at Music City Texas Theater in Linden. Tickets are $1,000 each, a portion of which is tax deductible, and will be available beginning September 19, 2008, with only 420 tickets to be issued. This very special evening includes a private after-concert reception for all ticket holders and an opportunity to meet and speak with Mr. Henley. Proceeds from the concert will help supply matching funds to supplement the $4.4 million grant the Texas Historical Commission recently awarded Cass County to restore its historic courthouse. The series with feature rare interviews with music icons Bruce Springsteen, Tina Turner, Ray Charles, Elton John, Billy Joel, Sting and The Eagles. Sam's Club and Takamine team to raise funds for Walden Woods Project

Samsclub.com and Takamine guitars have teamed to raise funds for the Walden Woods Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the land, literature and legacy of 19th century writer/philosopher Henry David Thoreau, America's premier advocate for environmental conservation. All proceeds will benefit the Walden Woods Project headquartered near Boston, MA. EAGLES AND DIXIE CHICKS SET FOR PREMIERE CONCERTS TO OPEN THE NOKIA THEATRE L.A. LIVE

Two of music's most successful artists, Eagles and Dixie Chicks, have been signed to headline the first concerts at NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE, downtown Los Angeles' new 7,100-seat state-of-the-art theatre. This historic Grand Opening event is presented by WACHOVIA.

When the Eagles and Dixie Chicks take the stage on October 18th, concert goers in Los Angeles will experience live performances like never before with state-of-the-art acoustics, "intimate" sight lines and a collection of amenities that NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE will be known for. The October 18th and 20th concert dates represent the groups' only U.S. concerts this year.
